An initiative to ground sustainability in public policy
PlanetaSOStenible.info is an independent initiative whose central purpose is to value and put at the service of the required social transformations the ecological-scientific knowledge of Nature, to introduce with technical and legal rigor the foundations of sustainability in public policy.
Purpose
The project seeks to contribute to the harmonization of the Society-Nature system, under the constitutional precepts of the social rule of law, recognizing that sustainability is not an ideological construct or a market instrument, but an inherent attribute of natural systems.
Public debate described as a means of national and global management
This process unfolds through research, rigorous analysis of reliable information, and the promotion of broad, informed, and responsible public debate, in collaboration with academia, interaction with territorial entities and environmental authorities, and timely consultation with and involvement of the legislative, executive, and judicial branches.
The initiative begins its work in the Republic of Colombia, with the aim of expanding its reach.
